I met Tanja Appehl first time at a concert by Randi Laubek in 2003. I did a promotion shoot with her two years later, and since then I've been following her career.

Tanja is the upcomng artist I've believed mostly in to become tomorrow's next big shot! I've gradually become familiar with her wonderful work from demo recordings and live performances.

Tanja Appehl is a really talented artist much comparable with Randi Laubek, so if you like the musical universe of Randi Laubek, you'll love Tanja's music too. Randi has arranged the choirs and she's singing at two of the songs on Tanja's debut album as well.

I've been waited impatiently for 5 years for Tanja to relase her first album, so I was exited to attend her Release Party held at Lille Vega.

I hoped to hear my favorite Tanja-Appehl-song, Transfer, so prior to the concert I asked Tanja if she intended to play the song. Unfortunately she denied!

Fortunately the applause after the final song was so massive that she had to re-enter the stage and give an unrehearsed version og this great song!
